This German-engineered tool is designed for durability, safety, and productivity, featuring a Metabo Longlife motor with patented dust protection, up to 20% higher overload capacity, and 50% more torque. The S-automatic mechanical safety slip clutch reduces the likelihood of kickback, while the Metabo Brake System stops the grinding wheel in 2 seconds or less and a thin cutting wheel in 1 second or less. Additionally, the electronics include features such as Soft Start for smooth start-up, Restart Protection for unintentional restart after power supply interruption, and Overload Protection to safeguard the motor from overheating. The tool also boasts a non-locking paddle switch for increased safety and comfort, as well as auto-stop carbon brushes to protect the motor from damage. The tool-free adjustable guard adds convenience for the user, and the gear housing can be rotated in 90° steps for left-handed operation or cutting.
